Ebony and Ivory....

..gets together in perfect harmony....side by side on my piano......why dont we.....?
You have to have the music in your head, and then its a perfect match!
Above you can see Atti von Smatti/Atti von fåntratt/ Mattan or just Atti play with his best friends in the world....the groenpups....he really loves them alot, and plays with them whenever he is allowed. He is just so good with them!
All is going very well with the little ones, they are really becoming good doggies right now! But I can say its a lot of activity going on right now...they want your attention, and they want to walk under your feet if possible.....They drag along with big bags, start to eat a little on my furniture, play wit eachother and us...they really love the children, they play a lot with them. The latest game is called let-go-of -the-cows...(kosläppet) and it goes like this: 2 kids make alot of noice in the big biabed, the puppies comes running to see whats going on, the kids then take all the puppies in the biabed, hold them together, and then they pretend its summer and letting out cow time........(kosläpp).
The puppies love it, and I just shake my head....
U just have to see it!

Update...

Above is my border collie Kongahälla Zilva, and I just had to show you this picture because it is so very much summer....I just found it looking through my folders.
All is good with the puppies, they are really developing each day now....They have little teeth and try to use them, but sofar it is very little inpact on the environment...aka my furniture.....not as the weeks that are to come...
We now have them all in the kitchen most of the time, because they dont want to be in their boxes...they want to be in the centre of everything, and so they are!!
Some of them have now been given names by their owners-to-be:
Gayka is going to Holland, Gizza to Åmål, Gunpowder to Umeå, Gandhi to Denmark and then some have not decided on a name yet. Also we still have probably two females and one male for sale to the right owner. It depends a little on if and how pregnant Dimza is....We also have to name our puppies- and Frederic wants Gullan.........no comments......and I like the name Gro, from one of the best dogtrainers I know --with quite strong personality:-))) like hopefully the puppie!
Thats all for now, I am exausted from watching another episode of Greys Anatomy:-))) That show is absolutely off the wall when it comes to dealing with emotions....its like a rollercoaster and I dont think I have ever watched a show that so completely drain you of every emotion...
I'm off to bed!

Puppies & more puppies...

Hi!
Long time no see, but we have been quite busy over here...With the "101 dalmatians" running around its really an interesting time! The puppies are actually being really nice puppies: they sleep all night, they dont wake us up too early and they havent started to demolish things yet:-)) Now they started eating puppyfood, and they love it! We have 12 different types of puppy collars so that we can separate them from eachother and their different mothers. The females are being really nice also: no fighting or bickering over the puppies when they are all out in the kitchen. I am impressed over how good they take this, I was actually a bit worried because I have heard about females hurting other females puppies etc....Bella and Zach helps me alot with the puppies, we just finished our 3 days deworming cure....that was some work..We have lists with different colours and marks to keep track of everything that needs to be done with them, and I think we've found a working system. Tomorrow is nailclipping time, I think its enough with the badtasting deworming for now....
Old daddy Yrac is also doing fine, he is quite interested in the little squeeky toys in the boxes....he likes to sit and look at them when he is allowed for their mothers. Atti the Papillon is playing with the puppies in their boxes:-) Unbelievable that the females allow this...but they just look at him and say nothing when he is being playtime daddy.....
I spoke to Linnea today, and we are not sure if Dimza is pregnant yet...we have to wait some more days and then I will take a look at her. I am really bad at seing signs of pregnancy, it is soo hard! Even if I look at all the typical places, I cannot be sure until I actually see the belly grow:-)
I will keep you updated a little more offen, I hope I will have better luck with my computer ...I just had some bad virus attack last week so we had to redo my whole machine:-((( In this process I lost alot of emailadresses, so if wait to hear from me, and I have been late- please send me an email again!
Until next time,
Take care!

Crazy week!

Above my pregnant girls some days before going to Brussels. How could believe I actually here was walking14 dogs??? Rifka to the left, Bita to the right.

Grand Place In Brussels by night!

So, I have been to Brussels with work, it was quite some busy days. We did everything you have to do, the Parliament, the Kommission, the SACO head quarters etc. I even cut my hair short.....and had a serious plane incident that made me think my last minute was here......seriously....Now I know what they say by your life flashing by.....how little you feel when you cannot do anything to change the situation...I am so grateful that I got home in one piece, I really am. Maybe I will tell some more about that later.

Below me and Yolanda, my roomy from Karlstad. We had a great time, and she helped me at the hairsalon when I cut my hair where they did not understand english, and my french does NOT include harcutting terms...

But as far as my dog life goes, I also have some great additions at home...before I went to Brussels I stayed up all night with Bita because it was time for her puppies to be delivered....I was in quite some agony about leaving her with the puppies on there way....and 30 minutes after I left home, she had her first puppy! And 5 more within 3 hours.....and I missed it!

But all went well, she did it all herself, just like her mother. Frederic just had to sit and look at her, and she did not need any help at all. 4 girls and 2 boys, my grandchildren! Finally some females also....we are not spoiled with that!

Two days before that, Rifka had her first borned litter. After so many times trying, we had almost given up hope....and there they were, also 4 girls and 2 boys. Unbelievable......

Proud father is our 14 year old Yrac, who mated 5 days in a row without complaining!!

I am glad we got this litter, it is the first female we get from Yrac in our kennel.

Now I am off to bed, tomorrow is another story.
Best,
Annelie

Mating Dimza & other plans

Today Linnea & I went to Norway and kennel Nanduhria to mate with Boss Du Chateau de Paradis. He was a very pleasant dog, like a copy of our Buddha but a little bit smaller. Same open, friendly and just great temperament, just what I have hoped for.....I am really looking forward to doing this line breeding on those real french workinglines....Hopefully it will give workingdogs with potential and a continuing towards our breeding goals:-)))) It will not be puppies for show, but real and genuine workingdogs that we can build on...Exiting:-)

Pictures above of Boss.

Also Bita is really pregnant....I think it will be a litter of at least 5 puppies, I am very happy about that also! Hopefully she will also give us something for the future, and I think she and Faxe is a very good match, both inside and outside:-))) I understand that this will be a busy fall, but it will be really exiting if we can get back into the saddle so to speak!!!

Legoland- about how life goes on.....

This last week we took a long awaited trip to Legoland with my dad and the kids. My sister Linda, husband Robert and their kids Jakob and David took care of the dogs. It is strange how life goes on although you have lost someone you always had around...how that feeling of emptyness can hit you wherever you are- even if you are among hundreds of peope you can feel so alone...Know what I mean?? My mom always wanted us to take the kids to Legoland....It didnt turn out like that, but we had her in our hearts all the way to Denmark and back...
We had a great time, with good weather, nice food and alot of nice impressions all the way. We took the camper over Öresund and Stora Bältbron, and it was really a nice view...I can really recomend it! Legoland really was a great place, alot of nice people and nice dogs in the park. That was a great thing: you could take your dog inside the park...and there were really nice, wellbehaved dogs allover. No barking or fighting, because I think there is a different attitude towards dogs in Denmark: they can come with you allover..In Sweden we keep them so protected from everything, you cannot take them to amusementparks or other activities.
Just as I were beeing bummed out for not having a dog with me, I saw the most lovely groenendael puppy coming towards me. He was really well behaved in that environment, with hundreds of kids, attractions etc. I was glad to see that in a belgian puppy...Then as they came closer I realised that it was Peter, Marlene and Guinness!!!! Boy was I happy and surprised to see him(them)!!! Finally I got my own dog at Legoland!!! Hugging him I realised that he really is a very good doggie so far......he made me really proud as a breeder, I hope that will continue!

Zach and Bella took their very own drivers licenses: at the Statoil Traffic school! Pics above..They also made me go on rides that had my stomach upsidedown.....more than once...I really faced my fear of hights.....Legoracers.......At the Billund Camping we had some nice barbecue and some cold danish beer....the kids had a great time and so did we...I had my mom in my heart-and I thank her and my dad for making this trip possible.

Testing my mobile camera....

I just realised that my cellphone takes ok photos....In order to get pictures to put here its more than enough....So now I saved alot of money because I dont have to buy a new camera...which is good....Today I was at work, the first sunny day of this summer...first day with weather good enough not to wear longpants.....but I do have a nice office so I guess its ok. Bella went with me, and we had a good day together, eating out and watching my old school that is next to my office: Göteborgs Högre Samskola, a great school that I attended for 6 years.
Also today finally Paula has got her own blogg..Welcome! She breeds really good aussies under the kennelname Force Galaxie , and is a very involved agilitytrainer with one of the fastest dogs there is...Sussie.
Bye for now,
Annelie

Agilitycompetition in Halmstad

Yesterday me an Bella went to Halmstad BK and an agilitycompetition. I had Rifka and Zilva, Bella had Svea for training. We had a very nice day, meeting alot of old friends which was really nice...It was hard to tell about my mom, some of you had read my blogg and knew what had happen ..I really appreciate all of you that care, and dare to ask how it is. Sometime I can talk about it without crying, and sometimes its hard..but I do appreciate the concern..
The compeition went very well, Rifka ended upwith two upgrading sticks: she was 5h in jumping and 2nd in agiliyclass..Yippiee! And that is without any training....for a long period. I didnt bring her when I trained because I decided to focus on two at a time...so she really is a doll even though she is much slower on competitions than in training. But she still makes the referenstimes and places in the classes...I guess I need to be out there some more..I talked to some people and they had like 25 competiondays the last couple of months...I dont think I have done 25 competitions alltogether....so I need to get back in the saddle to do my dogs justice...Zilva was also really good, but she is very fast and I lost her after many difficulties, at the middle of the cource after fixing alot of things I didnt think we would fix....she took the wrong side of the slalom and then I let her too loose after that -so we were disqualified..but I do belieeve she has every chance to be a top dog ---without me that is.......she is good, but I have to be better and train some more!

Also we met Zaro & Buddy with owners Hansi and Boel. That was really a nice surprice...the boys are very well behaved and look like real males so I am proud of them! Thanks for that Boel & Hansi. Hansi also took the photos of me running agility...thanks!

We also met Yracs daughter Etna and Mia and saw them running fast as the wind! She is really good, Etna! I love watching her race...
Thank you Halmstad for a great competition! Especially Flockenberg Gunilla and Ola for letting us compete and for the fantastic job you do!
Take a look at the pics,
Annelie

The show must go on...

This summer has really been terrible...I miss my mother very much, its hard to loose someone dear....Its all empty if you see what I mean...But I also try to focus on the positive things around me, the kids, the dogs and the rest of my family including my dad and my sister & brother & their familys. I actually have been training agility again, with my good friends Paula, Magne & Jonas 6 years. It was great fun, but I realise that my legs are not as strong as they used too be- I must start training....seriously...But we have trampolin that Zach got for his birthday and yesterday I promised myself that I will do 10 minutes a day to get some strength in my legs...Hope that will work! Also Gohr has left us to move to Sinikka & Martina /kennel Grey Arrows /in Västerås, Sweden. I think that will be a great home, and we hope that our little Gohr will be a nice doggie for them. I really liked him, it was hard to let him go....All is well with my other dogs, it has now been 2 ½ weelks since Bita was mated to IPO III Lann Morian Faxebrand...We still dont know if she has puppies, only time will tell...Keep our fingers crossed because I really liked him and I think it will be a good match. Yesterday I also got an m2 memory card on 2GB and put in my cellphone, so know I can use it to listen to audiobooks...which I discovered is great! You can close your eyes and just enjoy the story. I have taken some new pictures of Attilla, take a look....

Take care for now,
Annelie

The worst time of my life...

In Loving memory Thelma Silvander 410921-070703

I always used to say that I don´t know what I would do without my mother....How could anyone possibly function without the one thing that has always been there, in thick and thin , through all both good & bad......always supporting, taking care, fixing things, being best mom, friend and best grandma to my children....the list could go on and on and on...My mother was struck by cancer three times.....three times faced with this horrible desease that just eats you up...Mom beat the desease ten years ago..she had breastcancer and went through the worst treatment possible...kemo, radiation and all that goes with that... she beat the cancer and was able to see my children be borned and start school...she never missed an event with the kids, never missed a schoolstart or the end of the semester with the children singing in churh etc. My mom even invited the schoolclass home too swim in our pool last year because she thought it was hot & boring for the kids when school was out..and there was nothing do do..she often picked them up after school, taking them out doing things or just reading stories....they loved her very much, and always ran to see her when they got home from schoool..We were blessed with living next door to eachother, and met almost every day for the last ten years and I thank God for that..two years ago she got coloncancer, and she went trough the whole terrible treatment again..kemo and radiation, which gave terrible sideeffects...it breaks down a person totally.... but my mom was such a fighter. ...She never lost her will to live or fight..But then she had an accident, and fell which made them x-ray her lungs....and then we found out 11 months ago that she had cancer in her lungs...she who had never smoked a cigaret in her whole life...it did not look good....but we hoped she could beat this yet again, at least for a couple of years..but finally her body gave in some weeks ago......it went very fast, and I still cannot believe she is gone...The best mother anyone could ever have...is now watching us from above.. and I miss her like crazy......
When I have the strenght I will write our story on a special page....

Take care, and be thankful for your dear ones....every single moment you get together.

Puppies lleaving & SAR dog Dimza & Linnea

Linnea and Dimza passed their internationall Search and Rescue test (RHFU Int) and we take our hats of for his young and ambitious couple! Not many dogs pass those tests, and not many black belgians at all...CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now Dimza will take a break and hopefully have puppies here at Belgerac. Father will be Billy du Chateau du Paradis owner Kristine Holter/Nanduhria groenendaels. He is from France, and from genuine working lines, so it will be very exiting....Above you can see Dimza 15 meters up in the air. Then they start working....Pictures courtesy of Mats Olofsson!
Then we had our black gang og boys leaving us for the big wide world....Guinness first left for Peter & Marlene in Denmark, with a new Swedish passport (??) which now is a must...Strange considering I guess he will have to have a Danish passport for the rest of his life....
Then Go Jato left us for Linnea & Dimza.... He is already terrorising his new family, horses, snails & the bearded collie. He might be small in body, but BIG in his heart!
George have gone to Stockholm & Benita, Lexie & Bolibompa....He is the first of Belgerac dogs to up to the northern part of Sweden :-))))))We have exported far away, but never to Stockholm...Please be a good ambassaodour Armani (which is now his new name!).
Left behind is Gohr, that we are becoming quite attached to...he is really a great puppy, friendly, independent, a strong will but with a good temperament and a lot of will to fight. Looks alot like his father....he will stay unil we decide that its absolutely the right home...he is a working dog!
I will update with pics as soon as we have the time. Frederic is away alot and I am alone with puppies & kids and the ordinary dogs...
Take care!

Guinness, Go Jato, Gohr & George

Finally I have managed to name my baby boys.....with a little help from the puppiebuyers ofcource! I have also sent in the registration papers, and managed to get a good timing with the vet for the boys....Gunnar is now officially Go Jato..and he is mowing to Linnea & our new SAR dog-Search and Rescue dog-Dimza. I am so glad they made it all the way, it has always been a dream of min to have an official SAR dog...and I am impressed by their work, being so young and accomplish this. Hats of!!! We are very happy that Linnea picked Gunnar...(sorry Linnea-Jato it is...).he is special in many ways, a lot o temper and attitude in a small package...(small for now that is...) and I think Linnea will have her hands full! Today Sandra sent an sms with Jato climbing over the fullheight puppy box.....being smallest...leaving his brothers behind. We also have one boy leaving us for Denmark; Guinness will be joining Yankee, Zoey & Djinii in the red&white land of fotball-He will be going to Peter & Marlene & Jonas and his new brother Quikie to become an agility dog at the top-if all goes well! Although I am sad I didnt get my female, I am very happy with the boys. They are all outgoing and playful and likes to struggle alot. It is also exiting to have some puppies that besides working hopefully will be able to compete in the showring....I look at Eternitys Q litter that I really like alot, and then Yrac mated Safirs mother......Qhaos & Qharma has done extremely well in Finland, Qhyrac had a really good mentaltest and Qhameron I borrowed for a show some years ago and I really liked him alot....wonderful dog. I hope those boys will help us keep good type combined with working abilities for the future with our not so beautiful females:-))))) So if anyone want a dualpuposedog with speed and attitude, Gohr & maybe George is still available. I really want the right home for them..that is the most important for me so they will stay until its right.... Since Yrac & Safir both are very much searchdogs, I would love for one of them to do this!/Annelie

Puppies again...new pics!

Today I will begin with some new puppypics..I am no wiz with the editing possibilities of this blogg yet, but please have patience and I will hopefull learn...
To the left is the Gang on the move..Gunnar has raised his ears already..like father like son??

The puppies are outside alot now when the weather is good, and they love it. They have a very spaceous yard that Sandra and Andreas has built(thank you for that!!) and they can run around like they want.
We have had quite a busy week due to various reasons, and there is a constant lack of time..The children are on the move, never tired and still have some activities going on. Bella goes to a riding school since three years, Gustavsgården Ponnyklubb, which she likes alot. I always go with her because Frederic is afraid of horses...I have been thinking about taking up riding again, and if I can find some space I will do that this summer. Bella also has gymnastics twice a week. Zach has Judo, which he wants to quit, and fencing that he loves and wants to do more. He also went to gymnastics, but he declined going to this gymnastics summer camp, so Bella will go by herself..
Now I give up on this photoediting in this blogg...it is just not possible because all pics keep ending up at the top, by the wrong text...
So, this is goodnight for now, the other pic shows Safir the first time I showed her a softstock ever. She just grabbed it and said, its MINE!

Best /Annelie

New puppypics & Frederics birthday

Today we celebrated Frederics 38th b-day! He had one lovely day, cutting the grass at the trainingfield(it was LOOOOOONG), digging mudd for our new heating system and eating smorgastarta....He got some new jeans and a hoodsweater that made Zach ask him if he changed his style and had become a young guy!

We also got some new puppypics-Thank You again Sandra!! The puppies had some visitors, in the shape of the kids in the neighborhood, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves alot..maybe a new agilitystar is born, take a look above.

When the grass was short I suddenly got an unexpected urge to do some training...I decided to do some strait jumps in different heights, to make them aware of their feet. It went OK considering I havent been training since the last competition, and I really enjoyed it! I also did basic training with Smala, and it went really good. She is very good to work with, and catches on really quick.

I just tried to edit pics in the blogg, because I want to put multiple pics in a certain order, but this program only puts all pics in the top....I have to learn how to do that, but for know I am tired, and are heading for bed.If someone knows how to do that, please let me know...
Night all!

Puppies & results from Holland

Today I visited the puppies at Sandras house. They are doing just great, and look quite promising...! I brought some toys, so they will have some own stuff- Safir just loves ALL her toys , and starts to collect them when the pups take them...SHE wants to play, no mercy with the babies..:-)))) We also started to test making alot of noice, and they didnt care much at all, just kept on eating. Its fun to see that they are already little personalities....little Gunnar(hehe) is half the size(not quite, but anyway..)and has alot of attitude!!! He is the only one that gets outside his puppybox all by himself...wakes up early....and is quite the little busyboss....but cute!

Big Pink is relaxed and kind of doing fine on his ownmaking new friends, the Blue and Green are more alike, fighting abit with eachother...the next couple of weeks will be quite interesting.

We also heard from Holland and the big Club match they have every year..its the biggest show they have, and there is alot of activities going on ....This year the workingclass consisted of three Belgerac dogs: IPO III Zarif, IPO II Buddha & IPO II Django! The 4th dog was a son of Zarif, IPO I Active Zoran of Dark Brightness. Zarif got an excellent, and won(of cource....)Buddha and Django got "good", and was not placed...We are very proud over this, and are happy that especially our Buddha Boy got to be in a show....dont think I would have brought him myself:_))))I love him to death, but he dos not look like the other showdogs....sorry Elsa & Marco!!!!

Also must send some late congratulations to Peter & Django for doing their IPO II with such good results! Goooo Django! Pic at the top is Django...

Still waiting for Bita to be in heat...and Rifka..has anyone the same problem this year????is it the weather? tips??

We have now officially our own blogg!
